Try your skill on the potter's wheel free at Louis Mulcahy's Pottery Workshop

After nearly thirty years of customers' requests to be allowed see the work in progress or try their hand at throwing a pot, Louis Mulcahy has dedicated an area at the pottery to those visitors who wish to experience the craft for themselves. This Visitor Centre is open from Easter to September.

A professional thrower can be seen going through the daily routine of throwing pots, and visitors can try their skill at making the simplest shape. It is great fun and absolutely free. At Louis Mulcahy Pottery you can also visit his FREE Visitor Centre where anyone can try their hands on the potter's wheel. Groups welcome by appointment only. It is great fun and the experience is absolutely free.

There is a nominal fee of EUR 4 if you wish to take the raw pot with you or you can have your piece fired, glazed and delivered to your door at a charge of EUR 19.90

Groups charged a nominal rate of EUR 5 per person. Pre-booking applies for groups.
