Dingle Wildlife and Seal Sanctuary Emlagh Lispole Tel: +353 (0)66 9151750 The Dingle Wildlife & Seal Sanctuary (DWSS) together with The Irish Seal Sanctuary rescues orphaned, wounded and starving seal pups and releases them back into the wild as soon as they have a clean bill of health. The DWSS provides a west coast home for seals and Irish Seal Sanctuary volunteers in Kerry. By sponsoring the ISS, the Dingle Wildlife and Seal Sanctuary provides the funds and facilities essential to servicing the needs of the seals of the South West, promoting their conservation and protection and developing the harmonious and sustainable ecotourism industry of the area. DWSS services the catchment area from the Shannon to Cork City and also assists ISS with seals from further afield, if it needs help. Set on 22 acres of beautiful lakes and wetlands it is an ideal location from which to enjoy the wildlife. Visit the Seal Sanctuary and meet the resident rescued seal-pups. Explore our stunning children’s adventure playground! It features a three story wooden castle, a bouncy slide, not to mention a fantastic adventure park. Alternatively you can go relax at Blúiríní Blasta, our authentic, farm fresh café offering delectable nibbles, warming coffees and much more. website : www.dinglesanctuary.com e-mail: info@dinglesanctuary.com |
