Féile Lughnasa is a festival that happens every year on the last weekend of July in the parish of Cloghane and Brandon. A great weekend for all the family.
Lúghnasa is a Celtic harvest festival that dates back 2,000 years.
Revived in 1995, the festival features music, children’s activities, stage dramas as well as many local traditions, including sheep shearing, a blessing of the boats at Brandon Pier, and a pilgrimage to the summit of Mount Brandon.
The schedule of events will be available in all of the local bars, Siopa An Phobail and at the Halla Le Chéile.
