Dingle Food Festival
The Dingle Food Festival takes place on the first weekend in October every year in the beautiful fishing town of Dingle on the Dingle Peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The 2018 Dingle Food Festival takes place from Friday 5th of October to Sunday 7th October.
Highlights of the festival include cookery demonstrations, over 50 marketstalls, workshops, street entertainment, childrens events, wine tastings, whiskey tastings and much, much more.
'The Taste Trail', continues to be the most popular part of the Dingle Food Festival, taking place in over 70 outlets, where festival goers can purchase taste tickets and sample the best food and drink in locations that vary from pubs, and galleries to shop and restaurants.
Everyone comes home for the Dingle Food Festival and tourists come from far and wide across the globe that weekend just for the festival.
The Dingle Food Festival is organised by a voluntary committee of local people on a non profit making basis. We endeavour to have as many of the events free of charge as possible and some events do have a small cover charge purely to cover costs. Any profits generated are donated to charity and this year’s beneficiaries include Action Breast Cancer, Hope Guatemala and Kerry Hospice. All donations to these very worthy causes are very welcome and there will be donation buckets stationed at various points throughout the Festival.
