Sciúird Archaeology Tours


Sciúird Tours provide a guided tour with expert talks on the 6,000 years of human history on the Dingle Peninsula.

Among the sites visited are Ogham stones, monastic sites, beehive huts, ringforts, medieval churches, holy wells, Gallarus oratory. We also stop at a location overlooking the Blasket Islands and introduce visitors to the literary heritage of the islands and the Irish language.

The tours last 3 hours, includes bus transport and easy walking during which you visit four or five archaeological sites.

The tours operate daily at 10.00am and will collect you from your accommodation.
