An bhfuil ocras ort? - Are you hungry?
Tá - Yes!
Hungry and in a hurry? Dingle Peninsula has a number of great take away and fast food outlets where you can order freshly cooked food to go. Favourites with summer holiday makers and late evening arrivals you can enjoy take out staples such as freshly caught fish and chips, locally farmed beef burgers and pizzas. After a long day exploring or relaxing nothing beats the satisfaction of a good take out meal.
Seafood is a speciality on the Dingle Peninsula and this is the place to really enjoy fish and shellfish. Fish and chips has become a bit of an art form in the area and can include a wide variety of fish cooked to perfection by skilled locals.
Check out the specials board in take away restaurants where you will often find monkfish, hake, prawns, haddock, squid or calamari - whatever the catch of the day brings in.
Watch out for traditional take away staples such as hamburgers made from local grass fed beef.
Who can ever say no to a shared pizza?
