Féile - Festival or Feast (also generosity and hospitality)
On the Dingle Peninsula we like to celebrate! Our year long calendar is filled with festivals and events that celebrate the arts, fitness, food, music, language and sometimes just life itself. The big annual events such as The award winning community arts festival Féile Na Bealtaine held in May, The Dingle Races in August, The Food Festival in October, Dingle Film Festival in March and Other Voices in December have become favourite annual pilgrimages for many.
Discover the many smaller events and festivals which take place in villages across the Peninsula such as the traditional Naomhóg Regattas and Local Village Festivals during the Summer months, Walking Festivals and traditional and contemporary Music Festivals throughout the year. Horse Racing, Literature, Marathons, there is something for everyone. Explore our calendar of events below to find a Dingle Peninsula festival or event for you.
*Please note that the 2020 Dingle Peninsula Calendar of Events has currently been put on hold due to Covid-19. We will update once it is safe to do so.*
